square ”v” dribble：划v字运球。sro：比赛、音乐会，电影的门票售罄时，常挂出「sro」的牌子，sro就是standing room only的头字语(每个单前缀个字母的组合字)，意为「（座票售罄）只剩站票」。
stack：堆积；利用掩护切出的一种技术。
stance：姿势。
standing reach：站立双手高举触摸高度；
standings：战绩（表）。
starter：先发球员。
starting lineup:开场先发球员阵容。
starting：先发。篮球比赛中，两队各有五位先发球员。
static stretching：静态伸展。
steal:断球、抄截；抢断球(缩写：stl.)。
stepped up：字面上是「站出来、挺身而出」的意思。"…also stepped up on defense"意为「也加强了(全队的)防御力量」。
stop ＆ go：急停再走，起跑急停。
stop and pop dribble：急停放低运球。
stop the ball：阻运。
strength：肌力；某一肌肉或肌群，对抗阻力，以最大能力所能产生的最大力。
stretching：伸展操，肌肉与韧带伸长的运动。
strong side:强边。有球一侧为强边。
strong-side defense：强边防守。
substitute：换人(上场、下场)。
substitutes:替补队员。
suspend:暂时中止运动员上场比赛；禁赛。
suspension：停止出赛（之处罚） technical foul：技术犯规 ；
sweet：在nba七战四胜制直落四淘汰对手，或说横扫对手。
swept：在nba七战四胜制直落四被淘汰，或说被横扫。
swingman:摇摆人（指兼能担任得分后卫及小前锋的球员）。
swish：空心球（入篮）。
switching：交换防守。
swung the momentum：逆转了全队气势。swung是 swing 的过去式及过去分词，是「使改变方向、使回转」的意思。momentum在物理、力学上是「动量」的意思，引伸的意思为「气势」。
tactical factors：战术因素。
tailor：拖车。
tap in：托球入篮。
target：瞄准点，投篮瞄准的点。
team capacity：团队能力。
team rebound：团队篮板；指篮板球非经单人能力，或非经个人因素抢夺称之。
teammate：队友。
tear：撕裂伤；指肌肉的伤害。
