  第一节命题规律

  写作部分是对考生书面表达能力的考查,因而在命题方面有着不同于其他部分的特点,考生应了解其命题规律,做到心中有数。

        一、改写句子

  该节共有3道题,主要考查考生在意思相同的情况下,对不同句型的表达方式的掌握。改写句子最基本的要求是保证改写后的句子和原句的意思大体相同。以填空的形式命题,考生须填补空白并使补全的句子与原句意思一致。该节要求考生要仔细阅读原句,准确理解其含义,将原句和目标句相互比较,找出需要补全的内容,正确改写句子。

  (一)改写句子的常考题型

  ● 主动语态与被动语态的转换

  下面是关于mary昨天去商店的三对句子。每对句子中,第一句是原句,第二句是对第一句的改写。要求根据原句和第二句中已经给出的部分补全第二句。注意不能改变原句的意思。

  该节主要考查考生运用英语进行书面表达的能力。题目以简单的文字形式为考生提供了写作情景,并明确提出了对考生的具体要求,即需要完成的任务。考生必须紧扣所给信息,用自己熟悉的语言进行表达,不可脱离情景随意发挥,也不可逐字翻译所给材料。考生要注意把题目中所规定的要点基本表达清楚。语言正确恰当,意思清楚连贯,格式正确,字数符合要求。

  书面表达涉及的常见应用文体:

  (一)简短信函

  5.拼写和标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面,评分时,应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。

  6.如书写较差,以致影响交际,将分数降低一个档次。

  二、各档次的给分范围和要求

  1.第五档(9~10分)完全完成了试题规定的任务。

  (1)覆盖所有内容要点。

  (2)运用多种语法结构和词汇。

  (3)语法结构和词汇准确。

  2.第四档(7~8分)较好地完成了试题规定的任务。

  (1)覆盖所有内容要求。

  (2)尽力运用不同语法结构和词汇。

  (3)语法结构和词汇基本准确,些许错误主要因为尝试复杂语法结构或词汇所致。

  3.第三档(5~6分)基本完成了试题规定的任务。

  (1)覆盖所有主要内容。

  (2)运用语法结构和词汇方面能满足任务的基本要求。

  (3)有一些语法结构或词汇方面的错误,但不影响理解。

  4.第二档(3~4分)虽尽力但不足以完成试题规定的任务。

  (1)仅覆盖部分主要内容,或写了一些无关内容。

  (2)语法结构和词汇运用能力很弱。

  (3)有许多语法结构或词汇方面的错误,影响了对写作内容的理解。

  5.第一档(1~2分)未完成试题规定的任务。

  (1)明显未理解题意,导致未能完成试题规定的任务。

  (2)句子不完整或无法理解。

  (3)语法结构或词汇方面错误连篇,影响了对写作内容的理解;语言运用能力差。

  6.0分未答题,或虽作答但不知所云。

第三节题型分析

  一、改写句子

  该节最基本的一项要求是保证改写后的句子和原句的意思大体保持不变。
 
 
 
这种改写是以填空的形式命题,即目标句里留有一处空白,考生填补空白并使补全的句子与原句意思一致。因此考生要仔细阅读原句,准确理解原句的含义,将原句和目标句相互比较,才能找出需要补全的内容,保证改写正确。下面对各种句型进行分类讲解。

  (一)包含there be 的句型

  there be句型的基本结构为:there be + (数字) + 名词+表示方位或范围的介词短语+(时间状语),了解了这一基本结构,就能找出句中应该进行转换或补全的内容。如:many chinese friends went to the party.可以转换为 there were many chinese friends at the party.(pets1大纲样题71题)。很明显,原句中表示地点的词party在目标句中没有出现,我们补入一个介词短语即可。

  there be 句型在某些时候还可以与含有 have 的句子相互转换。如:there are two chairs in my bedroom.可转换为i have two chairs in my bedroom.目标句所有的物品以及场所都与原句相同,所以只能将其转换为由 have 表示的所属形式。

  there are tears on her face.转换为 she is crying.在这一句中,目标句只有简单的主语和系动词,但我们可以通过对原句内容的理解得知“她的脸上有泪。”——“她哭了”。

  (二)包含it的句型

  it用作形式主语时,其基本结构为:it is +adj.+to do sth.可以改为doing sth.is+adj.如:it’s interesting to play football.可以转换为playing football is interesting.

  强调句型通常强调人、物或时间。将it引导的强调句型转换为非强调句型也是经常考查的一项内容。例如:it is jack who broke the window. 转换为jack broke the window. it is ten o’clock when the film will start.转换为 the film will start at ten o’clock. it is the red dress that i like best.转换为 i like the red dress best.

  (三)主动句与被动句的相互转换

  当你在比较原句与目标句时,如果发现其中一句的宾语变成了另一句的主语,或介词by后面的词句变成了另一句的主语,基本就可以确定这是一个主动句与被动句的相互转换。如:jack was given a lot of presents by his friends.转换为jack’s friends gave him a lot of presents.(pets1大纲样题72题)

  (四)直接引语与间接引语的相互转换

  这两种句子的转换比较明显,原句和目标句中,有一句会出现引号,另一句没有引号,依此可以确定这是直接引语与间接引语的相互转换。例如:mary said:“ann is the best student in the class this year.”转换为mary told me that ann was the best student in the class that year.mum asked me where i was going to go.转换为mum asked:“where are you going to go?”

  (五)其他句型的转换

  除以上提到的四种句型转换外,还有其他一些形式的句型转换,这些句型比较零散,覆盖面广,平时学习时要注意归纳总结规律性的东西,比较和掌握一些可以互换的同义词或近义词,以备考场上灵活运用。这里以能够互换的典型词组为线索,归纳举例,供考生参考:prefer-like-would-rather,hard-difficult,too...to-so that, be good at-do well in, what引导的感叹句-how引导的感叹句等等。

  二、书面表达

  本部分要求考生根据题目所给信息用英文写便条或短信。在完成这一任务时,考生需要注意的最主要一点就是不要遗忘题目中有用的信息。参照下题,可以发现这些有用信息主要来自于题目中的情景和任务两处。任务栏下的三点信息一目了然。考生一般不会遗漏,需要注意的是不要遗忘包含在情景中的那一条信息。下面分析这个题目:

  情景:tom来北京跟你一起度暑假,住在你家。今天下午,你有事外出。出门时,他还在睡觉。

  任务:请你用英语给他写一张50字左右的便条。告诉他:

  在家里可以干什么;

  你中午何时回来;

  提醒他下午有何安排。(pets1大纲样题74题)

  该题除了“在家里可以干什么。你中午何时回来。提醒他下午有何安排。”这三点之外,还要加上一点,即今天上午,你有事外出。这一点包含在情景当中。

  下面给出该题的范文:

第四节应试指导

  一、统筹安排时间

  写作部分共20分钟,约占全部考试时间的20%。在20分钟内,考生要完成对题目要求的阅读、更改三个句子、写完一篇作文,时间比较紧张。
 
 
 
因此统筹安排时间非常重要。为在较短的时间内较好地完成题目的要求,在时间分配上,改写句子部分不要超过5分钟,这一部分分值较少,而且答案单一,对错分明,易于完成;15分钟留给作文,作文需要组织材料,构思语句,加工润色,整个过程较为复杂。因此要多安排时间。

  二、确定写作内容

  由于一级的作文相对比较简单,所以写作内容的确定也就相对比较容易。只要考生抓住题目当中的有用信息就不会跑题。在阅读题目指示时,要开动脑筋,首先找出包含在情景和任务中的几点信息(通常为四点),根据这些信息来安排内容,确定主题,动手写作。

  三、控制字数

  一级考试其试卷中明确规定作文的字数为50个单词左右,大纲中的评分标准中提到“字数少于40或多于60的(不包括标点符号)从总分中减去1分”,所以考生要特别注意作文的字数。只要内容紧扣情景和任务中已给出的信息,不写与主题无关的话,每一个要点用一句话表述清楚,基本上可以将字数控制在50个左右。

  四、保持卷面整洁

  大纲中的评分标准中明确指出“如书写较差,以致影响交际,将分数降低一个档次。”所以,在书写的过程中,最好先打腹稿,以免下笔后再涂改,造成卷面的脏乱。平时也要养成良好的书写习惯。否则,因为书写问题而降低作文的档次,就很可惜了。

  五、检查

  写完后,还需要以读者和阅卷人的眼光,将文章审读一遍,找出在写作过程中产生的一些问题,如单词的拼写错误、词组搭配错误和句子的语法结构错误等,以及写出的东西是否达到了题目的要求,是否表达出了自己想要表达的内容。

  另外,一级的写作依据是具体情景,强调语言的实用性和真实性。所以,平时要注意观察生活,积累生活常识,这样在写作时,才能下笔有物。
